Preparation

Avanti's hydrogenated products are produced from the corresponding natural product. They are processed until the double bonds are completely saturated. After hydrogenation, the lipids are purified by high performance liquid chromatography.
Notes
The hydrogenation process increases the transition temperature of the products. These products are not hygroscopic at room temperature and may be weighed or transferred in the laboratory without special precautions.
